From attic room to world fame. The 'brand' Samantha Claridge rapidly conquered the hearts of sewing enthusiasts, embroidery fans, art connoisseurs, and accessory fanatics. Not only are the brand's unique products a pleasure to the eye, but also their message makes Samantha's designs truly special.

A 'Change Maker' with global reach

Samantha Claridge Studio is an online fabric shop based in the UK. The website offers a wide range of fabrics for sewing and craft projects, including cotton, jersey, velvet, and denim, as well as patterns and sewing accessories. Besides being an experienced seamstress and designer, Samantha is a human rights advocate. Together with other committed creatives, she uses her global stage to draw attention to those in need and expose abuses and inequality. From this mission, she started the 'Change Maker' initiative.

The power of makers

During the course of the 'Change Maker' project, Samantha and Leoprinting collaborated to develop ecological notebooks. Books with alternating square and dotted pages for both sketches and notes, including recycled paper and a contrasting black closing elastic band. These FSC-certified A5 hard cover notebooks are finished on the cover with intaglio printing of the 'Change Maker' logo. Since the project's launch coincided with International Women's Day, March and April profits shall be donated to the charity Refuge to support its 24-hour helpline for women subjected to domestic violence.
