Inspiring life hack

Kink Out is a little tube that offers a handy solution for a big problem people encounter whilst gardening. In fact its one of the greatest frustrations of professional gardeners and people with green fingers. We’re talking about those kinks and creases that stop water flowing in a garden hose pipe! This lifehack repairs garden hoses quickly, practically and affordably and extending the product’s lifespan. Kink Out sells in affordable packs of three and can be purchased in their webshop.

Sustainability is the key driver behind Kink Out. This was also the explicit requirement the company had when Leoprinting was asked to develop environmentally friendly product packaging. We joined forces with industrial and graphic designer Eli Heath (Kink Out’s lead designer). He saw in the use of packaging that utilises 100% biodegradable seeded paper. Meaning Kink Out customers have free seeds to water with their fixed hoses and no packaging waste goes to landfill!

From idea to sustainable success story

Seed Paper can be made in any shape and is suitable for almost any product as sustainable packaging. Based on an initial basic design Eli developed a brand specific and affordable packaging solution. The result: product packaging that is just as sustainable as Kink Out itself.
